A nail-biting finish to the game. So close and yet so far for the Delhi Capitals. Captain Pant had almost gotten his team over the line, if not for the brilliant last over from Siraj. RCB pick up their 5th win of the season as they defeated DC by 1 run in match 22 of IPL Season 14. Chasing a total of 173, the DC did not get a good start to their innings. Both Shikhar Dhawan and Steve Smith departed early, in the powerplay. Shaw did get a start but failed to convert his start, and so was the case for Stoinis. Delhi Capitals were out of the game at a certain point. Pant was struggling to middle the ball but then came Hetmyer. He hadn\'t batted much this season but came back to haunt the RCB. His 53 off 25 almost snatched victory from Bangalore but Pant, unfortunately, could not finish the job and get his team home. Bangalore bowlers took it to the edge. A brilliant final over, defending 13, Siraj did an excellent job to win the game for his side. Harshal Patel got himself a brace, Siraj and Jamieson grabbed one each. Sundar and Chahal went wicketless but were economical. Earlier in the match, Bangalore having been put to bat, they were in a spot of bother as they kept losing wickets. None of the top order batsmen could convert their starts. But ABD once again, showed up to RCB\'s aid. His unbeaten 75 off just 42 balls propelled them to the total of 172. Rabada was expensive in his 4 overs, and Stoinis with ball in hand, had a day he\'d like to forget. Ishant Sharma was economical and so was Avesh Khan. With this, the RCB move back to the top of the table. SRH having won just 1 match out of the 5 they played, sit at the bottom.
