The Standing Committee of the Academic Council at the Assam University met on June 4 and took some decisions concerning the TDC odd semester examination 2021 for the CBCS course.
Firstly, the summer vacation for all the TDC Colleges affiliated to Assam University has been preponed and will now start from June 5 till June 30, 2021.
Secondly, the remaining theory examinations of TDC odd semester examinations 2021 (CBCS Course) which were earlier suspended after April 27 due to the surge in Covid-19 cases have now been cancelled. A committee has been constituted for the formulation of guidelines and modalities as to how marks will be awarded for the cancelled theory papers. Once the committee comes up with the necessary guidelines and modalities, a notification will be issued. However, the remaining practical examinations for TDC odd semester 2021 (CBCS Course) will be conducted through home assignments. Similarly, marks for SEC and AECC papers will also be awarded on assignment basis. The colleges have been directed to ensure the submission of assignments by the examinees, by June 30, 2021.
Finally, a committee has also been constituted to work out the modalities for holding examinations for students of Non-CBCS courses as and when the situation is normal. Notification will be issued for the same once the modalities are finalized.
The online classes for TDC even semester 2021 will commence from July 1, 2021.
